The hotel is very nice, the breakfast is wonderful!
The hotel room was very small and quite noisy since it was on the internal courtyard. I recommend to choose a room at the first floor.
Actually at our arrival the room didn't have the extra bed specifically requested for our 20-year-old son.The lady talked on the phone and made us wait, really tired after a long drive. We were taken to a room with two beds only, saying that the extra bed was "coming".Only after complaining about it and saying that it was the first time with Booked.net we didn't find what we had reserved, the lady apologized and gave us a larger and more comfortable room for the same price (the hotel seemed to have a lot of vacancies..).After all we really appreciated that.
The hotel is in the Nouvelle Ville, really far from the Medina.
Very good service from the staff, breakfast was first class, they don't advertise dinner, but as them to cook you a Morrocan Meal and you will be pleased, well worth a visit.
My stay at Dar Aliane was perfect. They treated me like a sister. The location is quiet and safe, and the rooms were clean and lovely. This is a perfect little place in Fez, and I would stay here again. They really go out of their way to help you in any way that they can, and the breakfast was tasty and filling.
The staff are all very nice
There is not much to eat nearby that is cheap (however, do try the fruit salad store on the main road that is always packed with people). Our room (Orient) had a window that opened onto the main garden, and when people are smoking outside, the smell gets into the room. The room and bathroom is a bit tired.
An avarage hotel with friendly people.
The hotel was to expensive for what it had to offer. The hotel was unknown to the local taxi drivers.
Nice hotel (Riad) with big bed, nice enter and chill out place. Perfect for couples whos looking for romantic room. 1001 night bedroom. I like also the comfort of the Riad.
- When I arrived in my car i parked on a free side off the street, after someone from the hotel asked me to move the car 2 meter to the front off the hotel, next morning they billed me 30 dirham parking fee??? Why I asked? Because we have looked at your car @ night! The say. 2 meter from the hotel and that was free. It is not about the 3€ or 30DH, it is just tha way it goes. - Smelling bedroom - noice in the morning from toilet next to my bedroom.
This Riad is just amazing. All rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff were very helpful and kind. They helped us in everything we needed and breakfast on the terrace was very nice.
It was very nice to stay in Dar Aliane. It is in the new city but it is very close to the old Medina.
The hotel was very good. The staff was very helpful. Just before I reached the hotel, I checked the feedback on Booked.net and to be honest I was a little appalled by my choice. However, my fears were unfounded. Farah, who runs the show at Dar Aliane was extremely helpful. She along with Karima made our stay at the hotel and Fes extremely agreeable. Their choice of guides was excellent. We were shepherded around Fes by the 1st woman guide in Morocco, Ameena and in Meknes with a driver Jawahed (?), both of whom were excellent. We were invited once by the household staff to share tea and snacks, which we found very warm and lovely!
They put us up in a small room (whilst I'd booked in a bigger room), when we arrived which was extremely cramped. They could improve the breakfast spread.
Is a good hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpful. You are in a typically Moroccan atmosphere with all modern comforts
simple room, with good service on the front desk.
With very few other guests the hotel was very quiet
The room lighting was decorative but dim and heating (January) in lounges and reception was non-existent.
the staff is helpful and kindly, the rooms are nice
The staff where very friendly & helpful - especially when I was unwell -they showed concern for me & happy to help where possible. Secure hotel with gates that needed to opened by staff. Very quiet at night, Free WIFI. Loved the inner courtyard area with big couches. Breakfast average. Taxi to medina approx 9DH.
